The BSE Sensex railed down by 72 points closing at 25,230 and the Nifty50 lost 19 points closing at 7,731, BSE Midcap and Smallcap lists finished losing between 0.3%-0.4%.

The Investors should continue to accumulate good quality shares and the traders wanting to go long may wait on the sidelines for some more time,” said Jimeet Modi, CEO, SAMCO Securities.


GLOBAL MARKETS

 
Asian shares ascended on Monday after a strong session on Wall Street, while the dollar moved far from late highs however stayed bolstered as speculators wager that the US Federal Reserve was on track to higher rates within the near future.

MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares raised by 0.6%, after US offers revived on Friday.

Japan's Nikkei stock index closed 0.5% down on stressing financial information and reports that Japan's business charge increment would be actualized all things considered, suppress any desires for a deferral.

Day decline in the market today. Today the market performed low, the morning indicated good signs from overseas markets. In the afternoon after the European markets falling market grew depressed and down.
After the market closed in the red. Nifty Sensex today fell 1 per cent both. Midcap and BSE Smallcap Index declined 1 per cent dominated and both indices ended lower.

With heavyweights BSE Midcap and Smallcap stocks declined even stronger. BSE Midcap Index was up 1.12 per cent and BSE Smallcap Index declined 1.01 per cent.

Widespread decline in market today. Bank Nifty fell nearly 1 percent to quote at 16565. The BSE Oil & gas Index was down by 1.2%. Nifty FMCG, metal, realty, infrastructure and energy index has declined the most. Infra Nifty index by 1.8%, the Energy Index up 1.2%, 1.7 % and FMCG index closed with metal index is 1.6 %.

 ITC fell by 1.2% reporting that government is working on a proposal to completely ban FDI in the tobacco division. In other cigarette creators, Godfrey Philips India, VST and Golden Tobacco Industries went down  by 3%-12% each.

Sun Pharma declined about 1%. India's biggest pharmaceutical organization Sun Pharmaceuticals on Monday went into an open private association (PPP) with the Union and Madhya Pradesh governments.

Axis Bank and Maruti Suzuki down by 0.3%-0.9% each, other failures incude ICICI Bank and HDFC .

Hindalco is the top Sensex gainer up more than 2%. 

WORLD-WIDE MARKETS VIEWS :
 Singapore's Straits Times, China's Shanghai Composite, Japan's Nikkei and  Hong Kong's Hang Seng have lost between 0.1%-1.3%.
